I am an HCI researcher. In December 2024 I was awarded a PhD in Human Computer Interaction at HCID, City St George’s, University of London, as a Microsoft Research PhD Scholar.
My thesis Situating AI Assistance: Teamwork in a Total Field of Relations is a critical ethnographic examination of teamwork as enacted and situated practice in the context of assisting technology and AI . The findings challenge a trajectory of design grounded in productivity-centric market ideals, and emphasise the need to respect certain skill, presence and temporal rhythm aspects of teamwork as unmeasurable and opaque.
In 2022, I was awarded an internship at Microsoft Research in Cambridge and supported user research and workflow modelling in Project Alexandria and Microsoft Teams. In 2023, I was awarded a DAAD AInet fellowship for academic exchange.
Previous to my academic work I enjoyed a 20-year international career in telecom, media and software engineering. I earned my MSc from Lund University in Sweden.
